Ms. Rivas is a bilingual and bicultural licensed clinical social worker with over 13 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. She has dealt with many different populations including LGBTQ+, those dealing with substance abuse issues and victims of sexual assault, and intimate partners violence. Since 2019, Ms. Rivas provides services to Erie residents. Telehealth services are currently available for patients in the Behavioral Health. Mrs. Rivas belongs to the Behavioral health Perinatal team who work with pregnant and postpartum woman. She is trained in trauma-informed and adult EMDR. She also offers Group and one-on-one therapy, a Medication assisted therapy program, referral to specialty care, Women's support group. Amanda works as an Best Friends Animal Society volunteer aiding in finding permanent homes for homeless animals. She shares the Best Friends motto, Save Them ALL and wants to have Los Angeles turn into a "no kill" city.
